Weekly Moves | Jan 3 - 9

We’re kicking off the new year with a weekly schedule to help you live in movement. At the start of each week, you will receive a schedule of ways to move every day. Follow along and learn different styles of movement, try classes and workshops, and challenge yourself to redefine what movement looks like with activities outside of a typical “workout”. This weekly series is designed to help you move more freely, more creatively, and more often. There’s no pressure to be perfect––if you miss a day, simply join back in the next day. Now, let’s get moving!


The Schedule


Movement Class 01 with Amanda June Giannakos. Move through sequences that will improve balance, flexibility, and coordination. Time: 22 mins


Move outdoors. Go for a walk, run, or activity of your choice. Time: 15-30 mins.


A Killer Stance with Farinaz Lari. Learn the basics of kickboxing with this dynamic practice. Time: 22 mins.


Cool Down with Kate Potter. A great before-bedtime practice. Unwind as you move through Bridge, Savasana, and more. Time: 5 mins.


Today, acknowledge all the little ways you move. Did you stretch when you woke up, carry bags of groceries, play with the kids, or take your dog for a walk? Take note of all the things you do in your day that involve moving your body.


Breath Workshop with Adrian Gaskin. Learn how to optimize your breathing mechanics to improve your performance in daily activities. Time: 5 mins
